| Is there any special preparation in putting a new hard drive in as far as software goes. I know I need to set the jumpers but I was wondering if it HAS to be formatted? I have a drive that was used as a second drive but I don’t know if preparation was done to make it a 2nd drive. I want to make it a primary drive. So far it is not taking the OS but I haven’t tried it in a computer that I know will go to the cd rom for setup.Thanks a head of time if anyone bothers to answer:) |
